BVI Take 3

We have just returned from a sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands. This is our third time taking this trip and it seems to get better and better every time. The picture above is the catamaran all 8 of us lived on for 7 days. It is definitely tight quarters, making it a must to go with a very easy going group!

Each day brings new adventures and beautiful sights. Some highlights from this trip: My encounter with hissing goats while on one of the undeveloped islands. Brad's shark encounter while snorkeling at dusk (too close to feeding time for me!). Partying on the Willy T's boat (this is actually a bar on a boat). A tremendous amount of rest and relaxation!

Here we are in front of my favorite island, Sandy Spit. This is actually where my friend Jill got engaged during our first sailing trip. We call it Jill and Gregg's island now. This is by far one of my favorite days on the trip. We anchor in front of Sandy Spit, swim over to the island and hang out. It reminds me of that old commercial of the guy sitting on the small sandy island with the one palm tree and his laptop computer. I can assure you that I was certainly not thinking about work nor my laptop while swimming to this island!

Like all good things, there must come an end. We're back to reality now dreaming about the day we were frolicking in the water at Jill and Gregg's island.
